HEALTH CARE REFORM

How many thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of people have suffered because of substandard health insurance? Obama Care is crumbling under its own weight. But, we don’t need to just repeal the Affordable Care Act, we need to reform health insurance as a whole.

Health care in America would be best improved by allowing small businesses and voluntary associations to join together to get the same insurance discounts as large corporations. We need to expand the use of Health Savings Accounts, allow for insurance purchases across state lines, and give individuals tax deductions or credits so that people can buy insurance that fits their needs rather than the federal government dictating their coverage.

Most importantly, health care reform should be dealt with at the state level. The federal government has no business trying to create a cookie cutter health plan and expect it to positively meet the needs of every citizen and be a successful outcome. Plan creation and regulation is better suited at the state and free market level. This will allow more competition, thus keeping the individual prices much lower.
